Hello everybody, so this is my first post from overseas.
i arrived in sydney on friday after days of flying, i stayed near the train station in sydney on friday night. i took the train out into the beautiful countryside on saturday(friday calgary time) and arrived at capernwray to meet my new friends.
at capernwray there is 43 students, over 30 of which are canadian! there are only 2 europeans, 5 americans and a few aussies as well as a kiwi. so far it has been busy constantly and lots of fun getting to know everybody in this totally strange place. as a friend of mine back in calgary said it is "constricting but freeing at the same time"
also it is beautiful here, it has felt like 30 degrees here and very warm at night too. sorry to hear it is freezing cold back in calgary, definitly makes me appreciate this weather, it is cooking here. We are heading to the beach tomorrow afternoon which will be really cool. This semester is going to be amazing im sure, good times ahead. in our room, there are 4 guys, which has worked out great cuz we are all pretty easy going. my roomies are tyler, colton and ian. colton and ian are from west canada and tyler is from colorado. there are 5 second semester students here and almost everyone has a laptop. it was wierd to see like 30 people in the hall on their laptops when the internet was up on sat night.
i included just a few pics for you all : top left - fitzroy falls, top right - singapore airport, bottom left - harbour bridge, bottom right, a field near capernwray....enjoy

on a normal day we have brekkie, chores, devos, two sessions, morning tea then one more session. each session goes 45 minutes and we cover a different topic each week. we have afternoons free mostly and have a session at night after dinner. If there is anything specific anyone would like to know, just ask!
Oh...for hillsong fans, i may get the opportunity to attend their live recording of their next album in February(i think it is February).
As for right now, im just relaxing and staying out of the sun haha. on sunday we went to fitzroy falls, it was cool
having all this fun is great, but i definitly miss all my family and friends and i hope you are all doing amazing, let me know what is new/how you are by email or posting on this blog. thanks everybody for
your support

Bye for now,
Adam

Just to make sure you REALLY appreciate the summer there. We received another couple of feet of snow this week. Will forward a pic of the 7+ foot banks via e:mail. At this rate we may still have snow in August and you can come skiing when you get back.
Thanks for the blog update,
